Hi all, Just set up my W1070 yesterday, all working la ink great and looking pretty awesome if I do say so myself . I'm trying to enable 3D on my projector but the only selectable options is the spit screen top/bottom. I have a pair of the BENQ 3D glasses that came with the projector. la ink ( 600 with glasses at Richer Sounds ATM). I've checked the cable and it works fine connected to my 3D TV. It seems odd to me that the top/bottom option works but the left/right option is blanked out. Ideally I want the sequential option! Any suggestions to try would be appreciated.

Click to expand... Hi Try selecting 1080i either on the projector or the source you hold the file on eg Media Player. I had the same problem and did this on my WD Media Player and was able to play SBS then
Also got the same deal as yourself from Richer Sounds and although initially said no glasses he went and checked and came out with a box with glasses la ink taped to side. Not really set it up yet as in middle of converting my garage into a man cave.
LOL, good luck with the man cave. You're right with the settings. Its an XBOX one i'm trying to configure. If I change the output to DVI mode (rather than HDMI) and set it to 720P all of the options appear and work. Not really the ideal solution la ink though, It should work 1080p?

Click to expand... Is it nationwide? I have got a optoma but thinking of going and swapping it for w1070 tomorrow. What if they dont have the glasses attached to the box? As i dont see anything mentioned on the website.

Click to expand... I believe it is, I got mine on the 21st December and since then I've seen handful of other people mention that they have had the same deal since. Officially it doesn't come with glasses so I don't think you can argue to much with them (although I'd still try!). When I was at RicherSounds the saleswomen said that BenQ were trying to sell the W1070's so people would move onto their new product (w1300? not sure). How much truth is in that I do not know...
Click to expand... I don't have a 3D blu-ray la ink player to try. The xbox one isn't sbs. It frame packs perfectly with my TV. Not sure why the projector dosn't recognise it as a compatible option.
Click to expand... Not sure how it works on xbox 360. I do think there is only 3 formats 3d is in, you sure the xbox doesn't produce the image as side-by-side but automatically resync it. I am awaiting the Xbox One to have a firmware update to hopefully do blu-ray 3d.
3d gaming on most consoles is 720p,, still looks awsome though la ink on a projector.. i use a pair of optoma hd20's and a demultiplexer to split the 3d to the dual projector stack for tue passive 3d gaming with an xbox360. ive got a video on youtube playing call of duty black ops with the rig on a 14' screen..

Click to expand... It doesn't la ink support 3D blu-ray, this will just be a software update or at worst firmware update la ink on the drive. It will get added eventually as long as we keep moaning about it. Personally la ink im not bothered about 3D blu-rays, I want to play games in 3D. It makes battlefield la ink 4 a much more intense experience and works great, better I thought than it is with Nvidia 3D vision on the PC. I have tried setting it to 1080i on the XBOX, but only 1080P and 720P options are available. I will have another look on the projector settings tonight, but think it is a similar story.
